Abigail Ramirez, co-owner and founder

Abigail is passionate about providing developmentally appropriate education for every student. She has been a teacher for over ten years. Abigail and her husband Joshua are joyfully raising four children. Abigail had the idea of opening Nature Field Creative Academy when her son was old enough to start thinking about enrolling him in Kindergarten. She knew that public schools were over crowded and underfunded and she knew that the education her son would receive at public school would not best serve him. After looking into private schools she knew that her family was not able to afford any of the few developmentally appropriate schools she was able to find in the area. She decided to take matters into her own hands and open a school that provided developmentally appropriate education using a philosophy she believed in, incorporating Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Nature Schooling and the Project Approach to create a truly unique schooling environment. While Abigail is passionate about creating a quality program, she is equally passionate about keeping tuition as affordable as possible to ensure that Nature Field Creative Academy is accessible to as many families as possible. Abigail is excited about the impact she knows NFCA will have on the community and on generations to come.

Cinthia Rivas, co-owner and founder

Cinthia has always known she wanted to be a teacher. She became a teacher at a Mother’s Day Out program at the age of 18. She worked to obtain her teaching certificate as well as a degree in early childhood development from UCO. She is passionate about providing a developmentally appropriate education to everyone in our community.
